Technology

Canvas 
Canvas is IU’s new learning management system with capabilities for communications, course resources, groups, assignments, quizzes, grading and grade reporting, integrated audio and video capabilities, apps for external resources, mobile apps, and much more. To learn more about Canvas, click here.

Instructional Support 
This site provides links for information and help using Canvas and Oncourse.

Oncourse 
Oncourse is an IU learning management system that is being retired at the end of summer 2016. It is being replaced by Canvas.

One.IU.edu 
One.IU replaces OneStart as the new directory and access point for all of IU’s online services. It provides a modern app store experience with a simple method to search for tasks (services and activities) using a computer or mobile device. You can search for tasks by name or browse categories; then simply click on the desired task to access it. To learn more, click here.

OneStart 
OneStart, which is being retired in October 2015 and replaced by One.IU, is a web-based portal to online services, including email, Oncourse, course rosters, travel services, and payroll and tax information.

University Information Technology Services (UITS)
Staff in UITS at IUPUC serve faculty, staff, and students by providing reliable, user-friendly technology, training, and support. Visit this site for information or help with email, classroom technology, software requests, working remotely, etc.

Faculty Development Awards 
The Office of Vice Chancellor provides funds for faculty to attend and present their scholarly work at research and teaching conferences. Funds may also be available for modest research expenses.

Office of Student Research
The Office of Student Research funds, promotes, and disseminates the scholarly work and research of IUPUC students. Students may apply for grants to work with a faculty mentor in many areas of research. Visit this site for complete information.
 
Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research 
IUPUC faculty may utilize many of the services provided by IUPUI for developing proposals for research funding. This site provides access to information supporting faculty research.

Academic Resource Center (ARC)
The ARC provides tutoring for students in math, writing, public speaking, science, and some other areas. The ARC also provides some exam proctoring services.

Adaptive Educational Services (AES)
IUPUC provides a number of services to assist students with short- or long-term physical, mental, or other challenges that could affect their success as students.

Bridge Program
The Bridge Program is designed to help first year students make a successful transition to the University.

Center for Teaching and Learning
The mission of the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is to support learners of all ages and those who teach them. CTL services include training and support for academic software, resource development, professional development, and best practices for integrating technology in teaching and learning.
